Items for the Newsletter should be submitted to the Parish Office by Wednesday at 10.00 a.m.

PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK

The priest visits the sick and housebound regularly with the Sacraments. If you, or anyone you know, would like the priest to call, please contact the Parish Office as early as possible.
Ministers of the Eucharist are also available, by request, to take Holy Communion to the sick on Sundays.

BAPTISMS

An Application Form for Baptism is available in the Sacristy of both churches with information and dates of celebrations, but generally they are as follows:
Dunhill:  11.45 a.m. First Sunday of each month.
Fenor:   5.15 p.m. Saturday preceding third
          Sunday of each month.
Three weeks notice is required.

MARRIAGES

Couples preparing for marriage must:
1. Book the church.
2. Complete a Marriage Preparation Course
  with Accord.  www.accord.ie
3. Meet with the priest of your parish at least 3
  months before the wedding.
4. Notify the Registrar of Marriages at least 3
  months before the wedding.

Calendar
The Parish Calendar

The parish calendar is distributed to parishioners at the beginning of each year. It's very useful for looking up the date of Ash Wednesday, the sacristan's telephone number, and so on. Of course, whenever you want to use the calendar it goes into hiding. Now, however, it will always be available on this web page.
Division line The picture on the front of the calendar, shown opposite, is of an altar with missal and sacred vessels. In the background is an image of a chalice and host. These are all symbolic of the Eucharist which will be the focus of our attention until June 2012 when the 50th International Eucharistic Congress will be held in Dublin. Also in the picture are the words,   "You are with us, Lord, when we gather in Your name", words that remind us of the faithful gathering to celebrate the Congress.
